Dentists, Baseball Games, and Automobiles

Yesterday was a really busy day!

In the morning, I had to go to the dentist to get my first cavity since I was a kid filled, and also an area that is hard for me to get to had to be protected. Why is it hard for me to get to? It's a long story actually haha.

In addition to all that I also had to get a panoramic X-Ray done to see where my wisdom teeth are. The two bottom ones will definitely have to come out sometime. They're coming in horizontally :S

Of course they had to numb me up before they did anything. That lasted a few hours. It felt like my lip was fat >__>

So after the numbness went away (right after I ate something), my brother called. He asked if I wanted to go to the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. Of course I did! They're boring to watch on TV but really fun when you're there!

We had a great time!


Now today, I woke up at 8:30 and had to go to the bathroom (TMI?). Dad asked if I wanted to get dressed so we can go car shopping. I said I just wanted to go back to sleep. So he went by himself. Then he called me around 11:30 and told me to get up and get dressed. He's on his way back here right now so we can go back up to the car dealership to get MY car. MY car is actually his old car :P

This has been a great week!

Bondage: Part 2

Well, I'm back. And I'm still alive.

lol

First they made me wait awhile in the waiting room with nothing on the TV but soap operas.

Then they took me back to the chair. The nurse lady (I don't think they are called nurses, but that's what I call them) stuck the numbing Q-Tip type thing on the area around the teeth they were working on. After a few minutes, Dr. D came in. He took the numbing thing out and checked out the teeth. He said, "Well, there isn't much for us to do here. It's going to be a piece of cake. You don't even have to be numbed much for this."

So I thought he meant that that Q-Tip numbing thing was going to be it....

...Then he pulls out the shot...

I was shaking slightly to begin with, but when he starting sticking that shot in me, I was shaking uncontrollably (not violently of course lol). I couldn't really feel it, but it still made me a nervous wreck. I guess the worst part about it is that they do it slowly. If they do it fast, it hurts worse I guess.

Okay, so the shots are out of the way. Now he gets the drill out. I'm still trying to control my shakiness the best I can. After he drilled, that was it. He left, and the nurse lady took over.

First she cleaned the surface of one tooth, and isolated it so it didn't get wet. Then she put the bonding stuff on, and adhered it with a blue light (I guess it was ultra-violet). Then she did some other stuff which I really can't describe since I couldn't feel or see it.

Then she did the same with the other tooth.

After both teeth were finished, she polished and cleaned them.

And that was it.

My appointment was at 3:40 and I was out of there a little after 4.

Right now it's a quarter to 5. It's dinner time, my lip feels fat, it's a little hard to talk, I can't really open my mouth cos it feels weird, and I'M STARVING!!!

I hope this numbness doesn't last too long.

Bondage: Part 1

First of all, this post as nothing to do with any sexual activity even though the title may suggest that.

lol

So anywho, last month I had a dentist appointment. They said because of the braces I had, two of my teeth have decalcified. So we made an appointment to get those two teeth bonded.

Well, that appointment is...

...today.

At 3:40 to be exact.

I'm nervous.
