OMG I'm so bad at making decisions I swear I'm worse than a woman!
I'm going to stay local for school. There are 4 schools that are all within a half hour drive from here. Staying local will help a lot with costs. I'm not sure if I should tell you what schools specifically :p, but they are 2 universities, 1 college, and 1 community college. Here is what each school offers that I'm interested in:
University 1: BA in History with a minor in Military History, BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice, also I can take the ROTC elective classes for the first two years, or all 4 years if I want to go into the Army (which I'm not sure I do now).
University 2: BA in History, and BA in Criminal Justice
College: BA in History
Community College: AAS in Emergency Services: Police Service Option (my brother did this), AAS in Computer Aided Drafting and Design
I'm taking the SATs on Saturday (wish me luck) so I'll be able to complete the application process before January (providing I get good scores). I can apply to the community college right now since SAT scores aren't required, but the community college is more of a last resort. My number one choice is University 1.
The only problem is, I can't make up my mind regarding what degree I want to pursue. I love history, especially military history, so that is one of my favorites.
I'm going to be job shadowing a police officer for my senior project, so I'll probably be able to get a sense of what it's like then.
I'm going to be taking a CADD elective in a month or so, so I'll be able to see what that is like as well.
Hopefully after all of that I'll be able to make a decision as to what career to pursue.
As for cost:
Since I'll be driving to the school, that will cut out the room and board, and also lower tuition cost.
University 1 - ~$8,600 per year X 4 years = ~$34,400 total
University 2 - ~$8,331 per year X 4 years = ~$33,324 total
College - ~$8145 per year X 4 years = ~$32,580 total
Community College = Cheap
There really isn't *that* much of a difference between the 2 UVs and the college.
So I'm not fully prepared to make a good decision yet. After the job shadow and CADD class, I'll be able to make a decision as to what I want to do. Once that decision is made, I'll be able to make a better decision as to what school to go to. Then it'll all obviously ride on which schools I get accepted to.
We'll see....

Busy Thanksgiving
So, here's how my Thanksgiving Day went:
- Woke up around 10:30
- Masturbated :p
- Showered/dressed
- Cleaned up my room and the living room a little bit
- Brother Number 2 arrived (he's the second oldest brother)
- We all talked for a little bit
- Watched an episode of Band of Brothers that was on TV
- He fell asleep, and I was a bit tired too so I went upstairs to lay down
- Dad started playing music >.> I don't know what it was, but it was really annoying since I was trying to nap. He seems to think that everyone wants to hear it. So I went into his room and gave him some old headphones of mine lol
- Gave up trying to nap
- Helped Dad set the table
- Peeled potatoes (Dad was going to whip them)
- Brother 2 woke up, so we went back to watching Band of Brothers
- Brother number 4 arrived (he's the one who is closest to me in age (I would be Brother 5))
- Brother Number 3, his wife and daughter arrived
- We all talked
- Dinner was ready; Turkey and stuffing (obviously), whipped potatoes, some kind of broccoli and cheese casserole with stuffing (extremely yummy), coleslaw, etc
- Dessert; Apple pie, Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin and Cream pie, and a pumpkin log.
- Then we all just hung around and chatted.
- Brother 3 and family left
- Brother 4 left
- I drove Brother 2 to his friend that was picking him up.
- Almost hit a deer on the way back. Luckily someone was in front of me who saw it first.
- Got home and relaxed; watched Casino Royale that was on the Syfy channel. They're doing a James Bond marathon. From Russia With Love is on now; one of my favorite Sean Connery Bond movies.

Thanksgiving and Landmines
Tomorrow (Thurs.) is Thanksgiving here in the United States.
It will be a full house here. Dad will be cooking. 3 of my brothers will be here, 1 sister-in-law, and my niece.
So, yeah, Happy Thanksgiving.
There is a new poll up over there ->
I'm interested in your reactions about the United States NOT joining a worldwide ban on the use of landmines. Please vote! Also feel free to explain your opinion in the comments.
As for my opinion:
I think it's a good thing we didn't join the ban. As many have said, a HUGE mine field is the only thing that is keeping the North Koreans from invading the South again. If we joined the ban, those landmines would then have to be removed. Once that happens, better watch out for the NKs! And since the United States still has troops over there, we'd have to go to war with North Korea all over again! The United States can't really handle another war right now.

The Night of Strange Dreams
Yesterday, I went to a surprise birthday party for my brother. I had to get up at 7am (only got 5 hours of sleep), and we left a little after 8. We got back home around 9:30pm.
I got ready for bed and was in bed around 10:30. I started talking to Tyler, but soon I fell asleep in the middle of our convo (sorry Tyler). I woke up a little bit later and realized I had fallen asleep, but because it was dark in my room, looking at the computer screen hurt my eyes. So I just fell back asleep lol. Then a couple minutes later I woke up again, and this time I closed the screen to put the computer to "sleep." I rolled over and fell back asleep. That's when the dreams started...
I woke up again and this time instead of just looking at the bright computer screen, I shut it down. I forgot the headphones weren't plugged in, and the volume was at its max; so when I shut it down, it blasted the tune the old computers play when they shut down.
Then I was watching Quantum of Solace. It was the final action scene, and the climax of the movie. For those who have seen it, it's the part where they're fighting in the burning/exploding hotel. The girl is fighting in one room, and Bond and the main villain are fighting elsewhere. Bond has the villain by the hair trying to save him from falling into the flames below since he wants information from him, and the girl is about to shoot the guy she's fighting with. The scene cuts back to Bond and you hear a gunshot. The guy Bond is holding says, "Sounds like you just lost another one," thinking the girl got killed (3 other women Bond has been with in the 2 movies Daniel Craig has played Bond have died).
Then I'm at a funeral at the church. I go to the kitchen where Alex's mom and grandmother are. I'm standing there talking to them (I don't remember what was said in the dream), and Alex comes up behind me and gives me a hug from behind. In the process of hugging me he brushes his hand/arm against my crotch.
I don't remember what happened right after that, but eventually I got out to the funeral service and Sarah Palin was playing the organ.
That was the end of the dreams. Some of them were so real too. Like seriously, when I woke up and started thinking about the dreams, I was afraid that my computer really did blast that tune (which my computer doesn't even make, and my computer was still in sleep mode when I got up), and I really did watch that part of Quantum of Solace. The Quantum of Solace scene in my dream was perfect to the actual scene. Even the soundtrack was the same.
I found it interesting that that QoS dream led into the funeral scene. I mean, the QoS dream ended with a gunshot where you don't know who got shot, then right into a funeral. Oh, and Sarah Palin playing the organ?! WTF?!?!

Youth Club, Derrick, Happy Birthday Blog, and Thank Yous!
Last night at Youth Club (YC for short) I continued being friendly towards Alex. Giving him the cold shoulder was a dumb (and childish) move on my part. It's nice to actually talk to him again. Although we don't really talk about anything, just whatever is happening at that time.
I was sitting in the sanctuary alone (texting Tyler) last night while the other kids were playing a (noisy) game. He came in and said, "I hate children." I used to say that exact same thing all the time (still do sometimes). He came in later and said the same thing lol. I say that line (and "I don't like children/kids) because I don't like it when people assume I'm getting married and having kids.
For those of you who are worried that I'm going to slump into the same place I was a year ago: Well, I hope I won't. I feel I'm over him emotionally to not obsess over him anymore. So don't worry.
As for the "Derrick" part of the title:
For those that don't remember, Derrick was my best friend for the last few years that I went to school with him. We knew each other pretty much for years before that cos my mom and his grandmother worked together, and were friends. His birthday is also the day after mine. I went over to his house a few times. There I learned how to play poker, and had my first encounter with pornography when we were there alone.
The summer Mom and I moved away, Derrick came to spend the night at my new place. He and I stayed up late downstairs while Mom slept upstairs. Naturally, the topic of sex and stuff came up, and we ended up masturbating; however we were both under covers.
Living an hour+ apart, it was hard to keep in touch then, and we eventually lost contact. Then last year I ran into his mom at the local store. I gave her my cell phone number, and Derrick texted me later that day. Then we connected through Facebook. We kept saying we'd meet up "soon" but nothing ever came out of it.
Last Wednesday, he sent me a message through Facebook saying, "Happy Birthday man!"
Then, last Thursday I went up to the school to do a State Assessment. I ran into him in the hallway (not literally :p). The school was in between periods, so he was going to his next class and couldn't really stop to talk (we were going opposite ways). He saw me first and shouted, "Peter! Good to see you man! Happy Birthday!" I shouted back, "Thanks, same to you!"
Later that evening I sent him a message back on facebook thanking him for the happy birthday message and wishing him a happy birthday again. The next day he sent a thank you message back and also said, "... we gotta hang out soon before school ends and college starts."
So, I debated it awhile then sent a message back asking, "How's this weekend?" (that would be the 8th, 9th, or 10th) He messaged back saying he'll let me know.
Now....
Happy birthday to my blog which turned 1 year old yesterday :)
So, time for thank yous:
Naturgesetz: Thanks for being a great friend, and a virtual father figure to me. I look forward to your comments more than anyone else.
Tyler: You've been my best online friend for the past couple months. We talk every single day, sometimes all day long. Even though we argue about something almost everyday :p
Mirrorboy: Your blog was the first one I found. I discovered it while looking for porn lol, but I found something better instead. Finding your blog opened up a whole new world for me; a world with other gay/bi people in it who can talk and share things they'd never tell anyone in their own lives. You also inspired me to start my own blog, which has helped get things off my chest that would otherwise be locked inside me. So, thank you :)
Aahsazyl/Matt (even tho you aren't around anymore): Thanks for helping me come out of my shell a little bit. Before talking to you I would rarely talk on the phone, and I would be really afraid of how others viewed me. Probably minor social anxiety. But since you got me to talk on Skype, I talk on the phone without being afraid (if that's the right word), and I even have a webcam now! Which is a really big difference from a year ago.
Steevo, Mr. HCI, and probably some others: Thanks for putting up with me since the beginning :)
And to everyone else: Thanks for reading and commenting :)
There are other people who are important to me I wanted to single out; like Bob, Courage, and Torchy!; but I just couldn't figure out what to say exactly. Sorry lol
Thank you everyone!

Friendly
So, I was friendlier with Alex today. I was texting with Tyler (via Twitter direct tweets) and I was showing Alex some of the messages. And I had to sit closer to him than usual today cos there were a bunch of people in front of me and I couldn't see.
Here's the messages from Tyler and I. The red ones are the ones I showed Alex. The first message was from me, the second from Tyler, the third from me, etc...
Direct tweet me.
